What to give for Saint Nicholas? Belgian handmade jewelry

26 October 2026

On 6 December, Saint Nicholas remains one of the most eagerly awaited celebrations in Belgium. While it is first and foremost a children's holiday, more and more adults use it as a chance to exchange small gifts. This year, instead of the traditional speculoos and chocolate, why not give a piece of jewelry handmade in Belgium?

A Belgian tradition, a Belgian gift

Giving handmade jewelry for Saint Nicholas extends the spirit of the day: a thoughtfully chosen gift, made close to home. At SophsCraft, every piece is made by hand in our workshop in Lasne, in Walloon Brabant. No mass production, no stock shipped from the other side of the world: unique pieces, designed and assembled one at a time.

For a teenager or young woman

Saint Nicholas is often the occasion for a first "real" piece of jewelry. A delicate adjustable bracelet is a safe choice: the Dolce bracelet (€15) or the minimalist Dolce sterling silver 925 bracelet (€19) can be worn every day. The colourful Summer Vibes bracelets (€30) are also popular with younger women.

For a mother, sister or friend

For adults, Saint Nicholas is more about a small gesture than a big gift. An adjustable ring such as the Venise ring (€25), or colourful earrings like the Rainbow earrings (€25), will please without breaking the bank. For a bigger gesture, the Affection rose quartz necklace (€39) is a safe bet.

Receive your jewelry in time for 6 December

Our jewelry ships free in 3 to 4 business days to Belgium and across Europe. To be safe, order by the end of November. Each piece is carefully prepared at the workshop before shipping.

Live nearby? You can also book an appointment at the Lasne workshop to see the pieces in person and leave with your gift.

What about a one-of-a-kind piece?

For a truly personal touch, we make custom jewelry: a favourite stone, a colour, a specific length. For Saint Nicholas, send your request in early November to allow time for the creation. To discover all available pieces, visit our collections.
